Preparing for Grammar
There are three types of grammar questions on the EmSAT exam: multiple-choice, drag and drop, and reordering words to form a sentence.
Multiple-Choice Questions
Complete sentences by choosing the correct answer from choices a), b), c) or d).
Drag-and-Drop Questions
Complete sentences by dragging and dropping words into the correct places.
Sentence Reordering
Reorder mixed-up sentences by dragging and dropping three or more words into the correct places.
Grammar Structures in The English Language
Grammar structures are rules that help us communicate correctly. They guide how we use sentences, phrases and words. Some examples are verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, and word order. Understanding and using these structures in the right way is essential.
